SAFETY FUNCTION ACTION for Disaster Responders and Survivors provides a concise framework for training and delivering psychosocial support to both disaster responders and disaster survivors.  This training combines elements of psychological first aid and responder resiliency training into a high-energy operational skills training course.

Note:  SAFETY FUNCTION ACTION will be available as a TRAIN THE TRAINER (TTT) Course in late September 2008.

SURGE SORT SUPPORT for Healthcare Leadership is the updated and expanded operational version of Surge, Sort, Support: Disaster Behavioral Health for Healthcare Professionals.  SURGE SORT SUPPORT for Healthcare Leadership is purposefully designed for healthcare leadership, presenting an energized overview of strategic thinking that integrates medical and behavioral preparedness strategies. 

Surge, Sort, Support: Disaster Behavioral Health for Healthcare Professionals has been developed to enhance the ability of health care, response, and preparedness and hospital personnel to function optimally in the face of disasters, acts of terrorism, and mass casualty incidents (MCIs).  A major theme of the course is on achieving resiliency in the face of adversity as well as the ability to meet the medical and psychosocial needs of disaster survivors.
